Copper lamps  It's tempting to work with copper all the time, it's malleable with great colour and it can patina so beautifully. After a patina treatment on the dimpled backplate, I sanded the tops of the dimples a bit for some contrast then a lacquer coat. For the coffee pot lamp I coiled the copper tube around a sturdy post (2 different sized posts). I had to tamp salt down the whole length and seal the ends to keep the tube from creasing while coiling it. I was a bit of an operation but worth it.
